The best description I've found:
Fuyuki City is the setting for a secret and violent war among competing magi. For the past two centuries, seven sorcerers have gathered and engage in a Battle Royale, each gambling his or her own life to obtain the Holy Grail, a legendary chalice capable of granting wishes. The past four Holy Grail Wars have typically occurred every sixty years, with the most recent concluding a decade ago, but the fifth war has eerily started prematurely.

I must say again Thank You! Another of my favorites and the last time I cleaned out my computer this series got messed up and now won't dl right again from the site I had before.

Great series for anyone who has not seen it yet.

i really don't think she had a choice at the end, they said if they drank from the chalice/cup w/e they could stay forever in that form as a servant, had she wished for soemthing she would be sent back to her world (possibly even if her wish was to stay, it may have been negated)
but because she destroyed it she neither got a wish, or the chance to drink

i still wonder where the saber is from the split personality ive seen on some wallpapers... i think the episodes where called fate hollow something
would be nice if some1 might kno more of it

All those three are the same story line (by which i mean that its still the 5th holy grail war and everything else to that matter). Everyone is the same. The only thing different is that different events happen. I think dark saber comes to because in one of them, Caster takes control of Saber's mind. I think.
