Well, it finally happened, the feds caught up with megaupload/video. Apparently the site was owned by some rapper or rap producer or something.

Anonymous has already reacted, riaa.org, mpaa.org, whitehouse.gov, hadopi.fr, copyright.gov, etc, etc are experiencing rolling blackouts.

Megaupload was/is owned by a big former hacker, not a rapper or rap producer. Read about it somewhere.
That's why i trust it more than other filehosts kinda

The thing with the ddos attack though is that it's essentially a worm. Instead of people doing it intentionally, somebody set up us the bomb ...er.. sorry, just couldn't resist that.... Anyhoo.... Somebody set it up so that just clicking a link in a chat room would make the person part of the attack. Now millions of dumbasses who don't have enough sense to not click random links in a chatroom are becoming unintentional participants in the ddos attacks.
